What it is^
By the term “security” we mean a complex network of multiple interdependent parameters, whose identification is the main axis for preparing studies and applying procedures, policies and rules aimed at achieving the highest possible protection and minimizing the risk that any legally protected interest may be harmed by threats, acts, omissions or situations beyond the will of the affected party and resulting in losses.
A comprehensive security solution does not monopolize particular methods of action, irrespective of the level to which it is addressed—individual, corporate, state or broader—but entails collective responsibility for applying the appropriate measures through continuously improving procedures.
Today, risks of every kind relating to security are ever present, a situation reinforced by the continuous and rapid development of technological achievements. The needs of the modern era require the fast, efficient and consistent management of enormous volumes of information and data of every kind at all levels. Security policy is therefore assigned, in addition to the traditional methods and procedures followed until recently, the further role of addressing new forms of risk.
What they include^Security studies determine the policy and objectives of a security management system through systematic methods of continuous review and revision, and include:
- Risk assessment for every item of information and every resource.
- Analysis and evaluation of the risk and of the existing situation.
- Preparation of a list of priorities.
- Identification of requirements.
- Allocation of duties.
- Preparation of preventive measures and effective response measures.
- Preparation of crisis-management measures for direct and indirect risks and emergencies.
- Preparation of business-continuity and disaster-recovery plans.
- Information management and Decision Support Systems.

Preparation of Studies^Through specialized security consultants who visit your premises and perform risk analysis and risk assessment of the complete security system suited to your circumstances, using recognized and scientifically documented methods consistent with the legislation in force, security requirements are determined with the aid of specialized methods for analysing and documenting requirements.
The determination of requirements is based on risk analysis combined with a maximum-benefit and minimum-cost analysis of the application of the various security measures.
To achieve the objectives set, security measures must provide a level of protection commensurate with the value of the system being protected and with the seriousness of the risks it faces.
By way of indication, certified studies and plans capable of meeting any security requirement may be prepared as follows:
- Scientific Risk Management Studies, including risk analysis and vulnerability studies for enterprises and organizations, within the doctrine of the dual nature of security.
- Security Plans for enterprises, organizations, etc.(strategic, tactical and operational, each within its own planning time frame). A security plan describes the security requirements of legal and natural persons, organizations and enterprises in the private or wider public sector, the actions required to implement them, the necessary technical equipment and the necessary administrative and organizational measures. The security plan is subject to regular reviews and revisions, given the rapid development of technological solutions.
- Emergency Plans. An emergency plan sets out the measures to be applied in any emergency, such as natural disasters and similar events.
