1. Highlight criminalistic points that require further analysis, documentation and presentation. (e.g. compatibility between weapon and wound effect, evaluation of gunshot residues, distinction of the origin of biological materials, causes of arson, etc.).
   
   
2. Identify points for which, although laboratory examination - exploitation is possible, no corresponding request was submitted. (e.g. entry traces of a burglary tool inside a lock, chemical analysis of a paint impression originating from the paint of a vehicle involved in a traffic accident, examination of a computer, etc.).
   
   
3. Clarify findings that are considered unclear and lack sufficient reasoning. (e.g. hunting firearm accident, suicide, authenticity of a will, etc.).
   
   
4. Utilize elements that require further examination, through the conduct of additional or supplementary laboratory examinations.
   
   
5. Evaluate existing Reports of Laboratory Examinations from State and other Laboratories or Specialists. (e.g. Gunshot Residue Report, Scene Inspection & Ballistic Expert Report, Forged Documents Report, etc.).
